1 ธันวาคม 2559 ภาคเช้า โรงเรียนห้วยคตพิทยาคม จัดการทำบุญตักบาตรข้าวสารอาหารแห้ง เพื่อเป็นการบำเพ็ญกุศล โดยข้าวสารที่ได้ร่วมทำบุญจากทุกท่าน จะแบ่งเป็น สามส่วน โดยจะบริจาคให้วัด โรงพยาบาล และนักเรียน เพื่อใช้ประโยชน์ต่อไป
